Engagements
Software Development, AI and Modernization Engagements
Ixvara engagements range from focused assessments and evaluations to production software builds and larger modernization programs. Start with enough scope to prove something useful; the right first step depends on what you are trying to learn or change.
Starting Engagements
Operational Modernization Assessment
Map the operation, identify the friction, define the target model, and establish what should change first.
Good fit: An organization with a process or operating model that needs to work better, before anyone commits to a large program.
Deliverables
- Current-state operating map built from interviews and, where supported, Observation Agent evidence
- Application, system, and workflow relationship map
- Friction and bottleneck analysis
- Automation and AI opportunities
- Target operating model
- Integration requirements and required custom software
- IT Fabric fit where relevant
- Risk and control considerations
- Implementation sequence and measures of success
- Budgetary implementation range
Ixvara IT Fabric Evaluation
Connect selected systems and prove the platform against real operating scenarios.
Good fit: An IT team or service provider that wants evidence on its own environment before a production deployment.
Deliverables
- Selected integrations connected
- One or more real operating scenarios
- Evidence and context demonstration
- Approved workflow and action demonstration where supported
- Outcome measurement
- Production deployment recommendation
Software Discovery and Architecture
Turn a problem or product idea into a defined architecture, scope, and build plan.
Good fit: A team with a rough idea, a manual process, a spreadsheet, a legacy application, or a product concept.
Deliverables
- Problem definition and user/workflow mapping
- Product scope and architecture
- Prototype or wireframes where appropriate
- Integration plan
- Security and data considerations
- Delivery phases and budget range
AI Pilot
Test one bounded AI or automation use case using representative data and explicit success criteria.
Good fit: A team with a defined workflow where AI, agents, document intelligence, or automation could remove work or improve a decision.
Deliverables
- One bounded use case with real representative data
- Model and automation architecture
- Evaluation criteria
- Human and control boundaries
- Cost profile
- Production recommendation
Production Implementation and Ongoing Support
Production implementation follows validated scope: what the discovery or proof engagement established, phased into working software, with support and platform operation continuing where the engagement calls for it. Nothing moves to production on the strength of a slide.
How Pricing and Scoping Work
We publish pricing mechanics rather than invented numbers. When you bring a problem, the scoping conversation produces a written range before you commit to anything.
- Scope is driven by the systems involved, the number of users, sites, or customers, the integrations required, and the depth of automation and AI in play.
- Discovery and proof engagements are fixed-scope; production builds are phased, with working software at each phase rather than a long invisible implementation.
- Implementation includes deployment, documentation, and a defined ownership model; ongoing platform subscription and support are separate, stated line items.
- Hardware (edge and IXBox deployments) is specified and quoted separately for the environment.
- Customer-specific engineering is identified as such during scoping, never discovered as such during the invoice.
