Ixvara uses proven open technologies where they provide the right foundation, while adding the management, operating context, governance, integration, support, and outcome verification organizations need around them.

Open does not mean unsupported

The value of an open foundation is choice, not operational abandonment. Ixvara is designed to turn infrastructure components into a supported operating platform with clear lifecycle boundaries, guarded actions, shared context, and accountable outcomes.

Licensing and notices

Ixvara reviews component licenses and publishes the notices, attributions, and source-availability information required for each distributed release. The exact components and obligations may differ by product, deployment, and version.

Current virtualization foundation

Ixvara VM currently uses Proxmox VE, KVM/QEMU, Ceph, and related open technologies as the virtualization foundation where supported. Ixvara adds multi-environment management, service context, governance, integration, support workflows, and verified operations above that foundation.
